Both of them dont want to touch that, despite the fact that its adding to our national security problem and is, basically, unethical.

I believe you are confusing 'not being a right-wing nutbag' with 'unbiased'. Just because he doesn't have a conservative bias like everyone on Fox doesn't mean he is inherently liberal. Brian Williams is one of the most respected and revered anchors in television. Simply because he doesn't tow the party line you agree with does not mean he is biased in the other direction.

Not if you listen to Fox. According to their infotainers everyone else is the "liberal media" and Fox is the fair and balanced. They do a good job of brainwashing that message into their viewers.

Oh man. And CNN, NPR, NYT, LAT, etc., are not drinking the Obama cool aid? At least be realistic.

I don't watch cable news. I find it unreliable, biased, and of poor quality. I do listen to NPR quite alot. I would say the people that call in are of a higher percentage liberal and they do have more liberal guests than Fox would, but I will say, if you actually listen to shows like Diane Rhemes, you will find she does a good job getting guests from both sides to appear on every show, and it is a far more intelligent debate than anything I've ever seen on the cable shows (or on this forum). They also focus on some of the more important news IMO, while the cable news media focuses on the more entertaining stories more frequently.

Cool, understood. But how do you explain Tavis Smiley?

He's the black dude right? I never listen to him. Don't care for his program the couple times I did. They don't even carry his program on our station anymore. I'm also not implying that every person on NPR is completely neutral, but I think most of the news reporters are or try to be and most of the programs are pretty well balanced. It is no comparison to the level of bias projected on FOX or MSNBC.

The fact that Michelle Bachmann believes half of what comes out of her mouth is incredible. I hope she stays in long enough for more comedic relief. However, most of the time I remember she's serious and get angry. She's like Sarah Palin... but dumber.
Her comments on the side effects of the HPV vaccine was so utterly unfounded it's disgusting. The national cohort of pediatricians had to issue a press release in response to it.

I also had to laugh a little at Ron Paul. His hardline stance on freedom/liberty fell apart a little when asked about treatment of the uninsured. His comparison of modern medicine to that of the 1960s is weak at best.

If Bachmann thinks that medical vaccines should from here on be referred to as "Government Injections", I can't wait to see what kind of excellent tidbits she'll come out with as the campaign season rolls on. She'll be like Bush, but dumber. SNL will have it's best ratings in history!

If Bachmann or Palin end up anywhere near the ticket, you can be assured the Dems/Reps are in collusion to flush this country down the drain.

I mean, I was already pretty sure when they put McCain/Palin together, but this would seal the deal.

If Ron Paul would lose his nutso stance on foreign policy, he might actually be electable.

Yup for sure. I like paul the thing is hes unelectable. Palin with some more years of real experience, I could see as an option, all though doubtful, but maybe thats what we really need is someone from outside the beltway and just plain crazy ???? The other one from MN while I like what she says sometimes is just too batshit insane period.

It almost does not matter who the R's run against the 0, its almost a shoe in, other than Perry, Palin, Bachmen.............. What every happens the 0 can not have a 2ed term.
