Well, sabotage usually involves trying to destroy or delegitimize something, i.e. Gov't is bad, gov't is too big, gov't is the problem, gov't needs to be reigned in, etc. We don't like government, so elect us to run the government and we'll dismantle it! yeah! (see Encyclopedia of American Politics 2000-2006 and see how the "party of small gov't" did on that record)

Vs the other side who says gov't can be a useful tool to improve the lives of it's countries' citizens, to make a more perfect union, to create a better, more prosperous and more just place to live and ensure that all Americans are given a voice and a chance. <--- Doesn't sound much like sabotage to me...

Josh, I do not think that because this article is a lashing of the modern Republican party in the views of a life long member, an insider if you will, means that he HAS to do the same of the Democrats...He had no personal experience as a member of the Dem's for 30 YEARS man. his expertice is in HIS OWN PARTY.

as of our last election we have essentially slipped into a 2 party system, and I think that we are as poorly off as the US is at this point. honestly I do not see a satisfying leadership option in any NA country at this point.

But both parties are not rotten in quite the same way. The Democrats
have their share of machine politicians, careerists, corporate bagmen,
egomaniacs and kooks. Nothing, however, quite matches the modern GOP.
