Palin is a bad idea in a great body
I like gingrich, and would hold my nose and vote for romney
But i will not vote for obama no matter who runs
Besides, he has no chance
The independents who voted him in do not approve of him after 3 long long years“There is nothing government can give you that it hasn’t taken from you in the first place”

Actually, I don't think it matters who is in there anymore. We're just as fucked.....
it matters a lot, and this is probably the most important election of your and my lifetime.
there is a huge difference in the direction the country will take depending on who is elected.
If you like less freedom, less liberty, and more government involvement in every aspect of your personal life, vote for obama“There is nothing government can give you that it hasn’t taken from you in the first place”

I'll be voting for Obama but if I had to vote for a GOP candidate it would be Romney. He is a lot more intelligent than the other candidates and the reason he flip flops on issues is to appeal to the far right, when his true intentions are far more moderate. Same thing happened with Obama, he says enough to appeal to the far left, then turns out to be a moderate on most issues.sigpic

Just out of curiosity which personal freedoms has Obama stopped you from doing?"I think we consider too much the good luck of the early bird and not enough the bad luck of the early worm."

Not to worry, though.....
Newt Gingrich will not be President.
When you put his inability to stay faithful to at least two wives, so far, coupled with his disingenuous pandering to the Religious Right then add the fact that he was paid millions by Freddie Mac during two stints, he starts looking like a very bad bet.
According to CNN,
During his first stint, Freddie Mac wanted to “bond” with Bush administration officials on the idea of creating a “home ownership society” – getting more Latinos and other minorities into home ownership - and worked with Gingrich on that.
In Gingrich’s second stint, Freddie Mac officials tried to get him to write “white papers” on how good the “model” was for government-sponsored enterprises like Fannie and Freddie Mae because free-market Republicans didn’t like that model, the official said. Freddie Mac officials were frustrated with Gingrich, the source said, because they had a hard time getting him to write anything.
