    Indias Biometric ID system

It's getting closer fellas. Cashless full control of society has begun. Sign your life away for a BIO ID card.

I realize the complete abusiveness that could/will arise from this but I still think it is cool as shit. Imagine just scanning your hand print in a store for payment or ID, its right up there with flying cars.

That country still shits in out houses, uses candles for light, and uses tricycles as major modes of transportation.... It won't work there, the people are too poor to make this technology relevant let alone work.

I dunno I just don't look at technology such as this is in any good light. It reeks of certain people lusting after even more power and control.

seems like a great way to reduce fraud of the welfare and social security programs. I'd totally get a chip if it got me out of worrying about birth certificates, SSID card, etc. Those can all be duped, lost, etc.

/agree. Would like to bring up a point that goes along with this ID system. IF obama care if left to stand, the Federal Government require you to buy into the health care system. IF they can do that then there is nothing to hold them back from in time require you to buy what ever they want. Each time your scanned some place easy to check to see if you are paid up.
Will it go there, who knows. People in power want power.

I dunno what you guys are so afraid of to be honest. If you want to use the welfare support systems then you gotta have all sorts of ID. How is this any different?

And the idea that you had a rock solid unique identifier that the medical data system could use reliably? That would make things so much smoother. It's a fucking mess right now.

I actually have put serious thoughts into chipping myself anyways just as a convenience to unlock all my shit without having to deal with a pile of brass keys and computer passwords. If I could I'd make my gun safety need it too. It's just an RFID tag, has a range of ~1ft. It's not like it can be location tracked by GPS or anything. (That's what your cellphone is for, too late to tin-hat that one.)

Yeah, really good idea on the gun safety. So when they decide they have had enough of good ole emericas second amendment they just shut down everyone's gun. I'll keep mine in my drawer next to my bed with one in the chamber and no trigger lock on it thank you.

Being a progressive liberal must be really nice. It seems like a much less scared and frightened lifestyle. Really laid back and taking all this stuff in with such a positive outlook sounds cool.

Why is there no middle ground?

Fucking Christ the human species is a joke. I hope a crazy mass extinction event occurs and kills off the majority of us in one fell swoop and leaves the sane behind to create a society that doesn't hate eachother....fat chance of that ever happening (the not hating people part).

The idea with the gun safety is that only i can use it. Why in the world would you give it capability to be remotely shut down? I feel like you're not hearing the same things I'm saying.
