    Newt and Mitt content...

What do you expect to change if either Newt or Mitt get into the White House?

Neither of these guys are conservatives *true conservatives*. Both have in one form or another supported the idea of universal healthcare. Newt is a lover of FDR for chist's sake. Mitt comes over as a weak fuck as a speaker and personality.

I don't see much changing with either of these guys in the White House. Newt being the worst of the two by a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles hair.

    Input?

I would anticipate the annihilation of Iran on January 20, 2013 if Newt were to be elected. How people could put their trust in someone that "hot-headed" not to go on a nuclear bender just to show some country who's boss is beyond me.

Mitt, on the other hand, I see as having a similar temperament to Obama. What some see as, "weak speaker and personality", I see as a benefit eluding to rational thought and critical thinking.

I don't see Obama as a weak speaker. In fact I think part of the reason he made it into the White House is because he's such a good speaker, he fooled a lot of people.

Both Newt and Mitt believe in all the social programs we have so the only cuts would come from the military? I don't see that happening.

Markseven - Are you seriously comparing Barack to Newt in terms of temper? If you're looking to Lybia to support this, I think you'll come up short. Most critics have described Obama's involvement there as a cautious, back-seat approach. He also acted with the support of all 28 nations of NATO; 18 of them supplied forces to the operations there.

In addition, the War Powers act doesn't need to be violated in order for a nation to be bombed within minutes of the President's say so. It simply states that he must obtain congressional approval sixty days later if he wishes to continue bombing.

Criticizing Obama's handling of the meltdown in Lybia is rich. It was a very low cost operation compared to other military actions and >>> no US casualties. Cooperating with other nations was A-OK when the senior Bush formed a coalition to prosecute the first Gulf War. Was that horribly weak-kneed of GHWB? Not really. He was smarter than his son when he did not head into Baghdad in '91. Obama's opponents had muddled opinions about what to do in Lybia btw. Their opinions changed from "don't even go there" to "hey, he's doing it wrong, here's what I would have done." Then it became: "no big deal, it's what any Prez. would have done..." The Iraq war on the other hand, was a huge, crazy, expensive embarrassment.
