I listen to NPR when I'm driving in the morning. I'll listen to almost anything on there, as it's informative and interesting, and that's all I care about. The only programs that really turn me away are the local (VPR) content, because it's way too blindly liberal for me.

    But hey, welcome to Vermont.

Otherwise it's Reddit, Google News, and the police scanner.

I dont get involved in the news, its a bunch of bs politics most of the time, both sides, all news stations, all biased.

I just turn on local news for a few minutes each day so i know if the apocalypse has come yet...

I get a lot of story suggestions from fellow businessmen and farmers, if it has them worried, it's likely to affect us all.

I also am a black sheep in my family, the only one in my immediate family that is not a die-hard Obama supporter, so I hear a lot of stuff from them as they try to convert me.

I have been mostly on a self imposed new break for the last couple of months, I am just so sick of the political shit.

Outside of trade publications for the industries I am involved in. Mostly the WSJ and my local paper home.

You should listen to your family more often. ;)
