    Clint Eastwood Speech

What the heck did I just watch? And the audience ate it up.

I feel bad for the guy actually. He is quite obviously senile.

It does not matter what Clint Eastwood says. It matters if you listened or not. If not, better hope Clint doesn't find out.

I talked to an empty chair this morning. I call it Eastwooding. It's fun. Everyone should try it.

Might want to read up on Eastwood. He's a mixed bag of politics. He's no conservative (or Republican). He just happens to dislike Obama's policies enough to want a guy that knows business to be President (Romney).

Talking to a empty chair is a common thearpy technique when you cant talk directly to the person you want or need to for what ever reason

That's your typical delusional older voter (regardless of party) who has no idea of whats going on since its not reported in the news paper.

Anyone ever consider that an empty chair represents the empty suit that is BHO rather well. Or is just more fun to watch the joke man and completely miss the point ???

Nope.....it was the irony of a bunch of empty suits hiring a pro-gay marriage, anti-war libertarian actor to poke fun at Obama....

The self-contradictory quotes from the 3 days of RNC ego stroking are funny enough without Clint.

I wouldn't say Obama has been an empty suit. Isn't that exactly what republicans want though - an empty suit? By that I mean someone who will sit in the oval office and do exactly nothing other than undoing everything Obama has worked for on their first day? Anything else could be seen as, gasp, being progressive.

Your under the assumption being "progressive" is a good thing

A "a pro-gay marriage, anti-war libertarian" speaking at the RNC is a good indicator or where the Libertarian / independent / swing voters are.

Correct. It stems largely from my acceptance that the world is dynamic.
