I haven't read the book, but it all just smells fishy to me. Security Clearances are a big deal and a loyal soldier, of which the Navy Seals are probably the best example, would take their secrets to the grave with them. He would know, and believe wholeheartedly, that leaking any information could put his fellow soldiers and country at risk. So why is this guy running his mouth? He even did an interview tonight on 60 minutes.
On top of that, it is all too convenient that the Bin Laden assassination is being brought back into the spot light in the final stretches of the Presidential election and on the heels of countless other leaks from the executive branch.
This whole thing is just too fishy for me, and all too political for something of this nature.
It's infuriating.
