But anyway this link shows texas still doing better than california at 1.19 vs 1.22. And this metric favors more densely populated states vs more rural states. If any state were to go on it's own I think texas would do the best.

Texas has the experience, but they didn't like it then.

The floor of the state capital has the seal of Texas, surrounded by the seals of nations who have had control of Texas. The US is merely a notch in Texas' belt.



Now the real question, does Texas want to re-do the floor, or leave it alone?
