So even though after 3 weeks of court proceedings with a prosecution sympathetic judge, the state could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Zimmerman commited a crime, you still hold the position that he is going unpunished?????????????????????

thankfully there are indeed some people of color in this country who aren't afraid to point out the obvious and see things like they are and express it. Although I'm no a lefty, I watch a lot of cnn and online at work. sometimes i'm doing work on the laptop at home and still have the TV on and realize that shows are starting to repeat so I either change the channel or turn it off. Funny how I never once saw this in the past 2 weeks. Did it not get replayed on cnn like everything else like AC 360 and Pierce Morgan?

The jury was composed of 5 white women and 1 "latina." 3 of which were going to find him guilty until they carefully read the law. I think it's safe to say they related more to Zimmerman than Trayvon or Rachel Jeantel. I would hardly call divorced parents a "broken home." He had both parents and his father's girlfriend in his life. Some people don't even know their father. As for this thug shit, you are speculating just like everyone else. A few pictures on the phone, doesn't make someone a thug...an e thug maybe. How many teens today smoke weed? ...a lot. Who has naked pics? ...who doesn't? Picture of a gun? ...a few. The husband and a half brother later went and grabbed Till and brutally murdered him. The two men were not only acquitted but were eventually supported by their peers! (sound familiar?)

And that will always be the case, just like the OJ trial. I personally dont feel there is some sort of "reverse racism" involved. My concern is how incredibly hyped up the case was. How CBS even doctored evidence to make the whole thing more racist appearing. Its a wedge issue, just like abortion or immigration.

I wished we wouldnt bite on that shit. People were looking at cases like these emotionally despite being far removed. We dont want the legal system to work emotionally, else it could be dangerous for all involved.
