There's cheap property you just have to go further east in the county. Obviously property on the coast or in the city would be more expensive.

That said don't move here because i like it and there's too many people already. :p
    Hahaha, 57 is hoodie weather!

Oklahoma would be the perfect place to live if it weren't for the fucking extreme right.

Then again, it doesn't really affect life on a daily basis.

I know you're in Montana but I don't know much more than that.

Bellingham is just the closest town of 80k+ people to the border and has a pretty good University and community college. I lived there for while I was in school and visited frequently after I was done because my wife was still living and working there. Great city despite the Canadian invasions on weekends,

No, the worst thing about the PNW, is seattle area traffic, its like LA 2.0, mainly because the fucking DOT cant design roads to save their life. Exit only lanes for every lane? sure! 3 lanes merge into 1 off of I5? Lets do it!

(I'm just chiming in and saying this because the people that know where I live, know. I am being serious in my response though. That is all).

Believe it or not, here in AZ we have a huge influx of Canadians every winter. I find myself praying for summer just so these fuckers will leave.

Same thing I think about people from Arizona during the summer here in San Diego. Some how 3 parking spots turn into 1. ;)

Otherwise, why go learn a skill/ trade or pay for further education just to get paid slightly more than a high schooler? I wonder how many small businesses will get screwed on this deal too, as if they're not getting leaned over enough as it is. Welcome to big business, corporate America.
Idealism vs reality. Down here, a lot of people use mcDonalds as a way to support their families... if you see my location, I live right next to the border. Crazy how everything is connected to everything else. But as I still work at a local owned restaurant, (1 more year to degree!) I was talking to the accountant and even though the restaurant might see a bit of money coming its way the owner never sees more than 2-3%. After insurance, rent, utilities, fix wages, repairs, food items they're crunching to save on which kids cups are cheaper by the penny marks here. If the dishwasher was making 15$ and the rest of the FOH made that much it would break their back. (I didn't read some of the restaurant convo here admittedly :( )

It's nowhere near as bad as LA  seriously you're reaching here. The aggressive driver aspect of LA traffic is the absolute worst.
