if it has truly gone airborne there should be 100's more cases stemming form Duncan. Its likely this infection came from the initial trip to the ER when he was sent back home when no protocols were in place.

They did, however, just confirm a SECOND case of Ebola that was contracted by the first case who died in Texas.

The deadly Ebola virus has been contracted by someone inside the United States for the first time.

bitch was wearing hazmat, and she got infected. So much for only fluid contact. They are just calling it a "protocol breach" as not to incite panic.

        Boston got hit

US Government is doing a little disaster prep for a disease that isn't airborne

you can still get fluid contact with out seeing it, and it not be airborne. All it takes is one small drop from a sneeze on you hand and then you touch your eye, mouth, nose or have a little micro cut in your skin and BAM there you have it. That is a possible case in bean town, there have been many isolation's and tests done on possible cases only 2 have tested positive.

Of course they're prepping. That's what governments do. It's called contingency planning.

              zerohedge..

now we're back in tinfoil hat land. too bad.

now, go smoke some cigs, drink a bunch of booze, and eat a bunch of cheeseburgers. because god knows you should be scared of Ebola when cancer, alcoholism and heart disease kill millions every year, but 1 guy in Texas died of Ebola so you should freak out..

I'm glad to see health care workers now over reacting, rather then giving the stock line of "go home, drink plenty of fluids and come back in a few day if you don't feel better."

From what they say Pham is now in stable condition, showing signs of recovery.

Also it turns out there's a company in Canada that will be releasing trial vaccinations to Liberia for 20 individuals. Hopefully we dodged another bullet here.

Why are you still in this discussion? You have shown no interest in the topic other than to shit on everyone.
And yes, with every outbreak whatever the extent there is a possibility of widespread infection. It's pretty obvious you've never been in an area that has had to worry about a high mortality rate virus.

I wasn't shitting on anyone. I'm just not throwing my arms up about something that isn't a big deal in the developed world.

Unless you're actively exposed to someone with the virus, you're not going to get it.

So this isn't me, nor my vehicle... but Arizona has many large/military/deuce vehicles in private hands. I actually know of three within a few miles of me not for sale, and a warehouse near my gym has two.

The one pictured was very well setup for a life on the run from zombies. Too bad I can't locate the ad any more. There are plenty more on craigslist in Arizona if anyone is in the market.
