Controlled "leaks"; an old style of geopolitical warfare. Nothing new and something I'd expect is out of the the DoD and CIA play books.
The lack of American names is highly suspicious and the CIA has both the ability to do something like this and the motive to try to make everyone but the USA look corrupt. But Occam's razor would suggest that American's are just using a different law firm in Panama.
That 47% barely make enough to scrape by. Those are the kind of people employed by Walmart, where they only get just enough hours to qualify as "part time" and the company encourages them to apply for food stamps. You and I are subsidizing those people, not the uber wealthy.
The bottom half of America has seen their incomes shrink for the last few decades. There's a reason they take in more than they pay out. Do you think half of all Americans would rather live paycheck to paycheck than make a bit more and have to pay higher taxes?
I don't give a shit. Everyone needs to have skin in the game.
Call me heartless, call me whatever you want. The fact that they are either on the take or not paying anything means they aren't vested. Period.
what reality? the one where half of our population has 10% of the income, while 1% of our population takes 50%? They should only pay their fair share if they're poor, right?
nice ad hominem. can't back it up with reason, so..
your memory is short. maybe go back up and read your post again.
you essentially claim that being poor means you are a thief. potato, potato..
That is a fact. Not a popular one.
Its fine to take the side of the poor, and I get it. It's not a fun place to be. I have been there. However, there is no escaping the simple arithmetic that getting something for nothing is theft. It shouldn't be criminally enforced, but the math still checks.
No, I am not poor. Is someone richer than me? Yes. Is someone poorer than me? Yes.
I am far from deluded. I have a roof over my head secured by a mortgage, live in San Diego, have a steady job, have food in my belly and I am not running my credit down the drain is by definition NOT POOR.
