Funny, when I bought my house 2 years ago I noticed that they actually built it piece by piece and didn't roll it in on 2 trailers. Oh and I don't own a laptop. That really is an amazing story about an ex. I grew up in the hood, hell I've been the only white family in a big area of the south side of Chicago when my parents got lost and we stopped at a churches chicken. That's the rub right there. You have ZERO clue as to if there was consent or not.

Something else we agree on marshall. While I wouldn't go so far as to say "not permitted" for all of Islam. I do think certain extreme versions of Islam should not be allowed to be practiced as it conflicts with the basic tenets of Western civilization as you mentioned.

The hard part of this is enforcement. No one here wants to block out every single Muslim, but how on earth do you police extremist speech without infringing on all speech?

Right now, all speech (largely) is free. But to begin splitting hairs as to what extremist speech is opens a door to a change of mood on what constitutes extremist speech. I am positive some left leaning folks would like to make strict Constitutionalist speech, extremist speech. This is why the Founders did not qualify what free speech was. If you do, then it is subject to opinion.
