If this happens and Trump gets them to back down that would be all Trump and would be great.

        Feels like it's April 1st.

It's the classic kick the bully in the dick, it makes them realize they arnt as bad ass as they thought they were. We had way too many presidents cower to the Kim's saber rattling.

Thing is though, are they just going to turn in their current stuff and make good on their promise, but in truth China and Iran are giving them newer stuff. It would be too easy for NK to test in China and Iran instead of NK. Is China and Iran even doing tests though?

It just sounds too good to be true but time will tell.

How long have I been saying this is just posturing and nothing would come of it?

This is a quite familiar move in the DPRK playbook.

I'm thinking it's just posturing too, but then again north and south haven't met face to face but only 3 or 4 times since the war. Maybe the sanctions are actually starting to hurt them. NK playing with missiles hasn't been in the news for awhile now.

To me it seems they are taking Trump somewhat serious and are having a slight oh shit moment and are realizing that things are going to have to change. We'll soon see if it's the same ole same ole. I hope it's not.

This is why I said if, I also want to give Trump credit/the benefit of the doubt.

Bottom line he is the President so when he succeeds we succeed.

Trump has nothing to do with it. DPRK is a puppet state for China and occasionally they tell the DPRK to STFU and move things along.

The president, any president, doesn't really accomplish much.

However, I wholeheartedly agree with your 2nd sentence.

Of course he does, unless you are separating Trump from the military. Then yeah all has done is talk to Xi, and talk shit to Kim on twitter. I do think that positioning aircraft carriers in the area and wheeling and dealing with China on things that affect their money(and China actually sticking with it) does send a big message to Kim. China is still sending ships with oil even though at a supposed lower frequency so obviously it's not working completely. Perhaps a naval blockade is in order. NK seems to be loosening up so maybe it is a start, who knows.

                                Not even slightly interesting.

It becomes interesting when it is a Presidential candidate that wins the Presidency covers up the affair in a really idiotic way.
