Let’s talk about Antifa.

well then feel free to recuse yourself from the discussion, since you don't have anything useful to add. you probably weren't even alive for some of the events i mention. -
You are so naive I don't know where to start.
it absolutely is, and that's why we're aligned as backup to the BLM movement as "those who might not mind getting occasionally hit or arrested for the cause"- the red warriors camp were *that* kinda native while i was out at standing rock, and my riot shield has 5 beanbag round marks on it because i fucked around and found out with them, and that situation doesn't even describe the extent of the problem, because the other side of the wire were mostly private security contractors. nevermind what the cops are doing, nationwide, institutionally
yes, the police should be defunded, and their scope of responsibility should be both limited and replaced with social services designed to help, not arrest and generate revenue by incarcerating or costs by murdering already economically disadvantaged people
*you*, as a conservative, should know that your party created this problem. reagan's great cost-cutting act was to eliminate the safety net that cared for the homeless and mentally ill. shall we take a look at how well overfunding the police and providing them with surplus military equipment has worked instead? do you wanna take a long hard stare at that one with me?Leave a comment:

Ha, the joke is on all of us, the rotting flesh of kings will not even begin to satiate the blood lust of our fair planet and her inhabitants. At least we all know where we will end up no matter what we do during the time we are alive, and ultimately it makes no difference how we get there.
That said, one of my favorite things to have heard in general was Mike Tyson effectively saying that the act of killing another human is just a reflection of self hate. Ergo, killing yourself is actually an act of love towards the rest of humanity, right? It's also the ultimate rebellion against state ownership of self, right?
However, as the state is just a component of self, so, why bother in the first place.
We need a new dark thoughts thread since what's his face got banned.Leave a comment:

who knows why?
In the articles posted here previously, the only ones in this discussion, that term was not used. Sounds like there could've been more than a handful though?
Seriously, I don't understand the political point scoring mindset you, or some others have on something like this. It's a pretty shitty scenario. Real people's lives. But you take the time out to dismiss it as a political stunt. I just don't get that. Maybe a bunch of poor immigrants got their uteruses taken out for who knows why, some idiot doctor, or just disorganization? and it isn't just immediately a conspiracy by the political party you don't like.
probably the sitting president addressing crowds of white supporters telling them they have "good genes".
Trump has previously suggested that he has superior genes and expressed pride in his "German blood."
it's not even a dog whistle anymore, it's out loud.Leave a comment:

Um, no one said "mass hysterectomies" except you. **The whistleblower complaint and the investigation is a Real Thing** -- feel free to read in greater detail from another source:

The timing is the timing, not everything is a conspiracy. And I have no idea why this is in the "Antifa" thread.

Democratic lawmakers and immigration advocacy groups are calling for the Department of Homeland Security's inspector general to investigate the claims, centered on conditions at a facility in Georgia.
"If true, the appalling conditions described in the whistleblower complaint – including allegations of mass hysterectomies being performed on vulnerable immigrant women – are a staggering abuse of human rights," said Pelosi. On Tuesday, a group of 168 members of Congress sent a letter urging DHS Inspector General Joseph Cuffari to investigate the allegations of mass hysterectomies. They're demanding an urgent response and a briefing on the status of the investigation by Sept. 25.Leave a comment:

this is in the antifa thread because in general, anti-fascists tend to have a problem with genocide.Leave a comment:

There's no "we," the articles are naming one doctor at a privately run hospital.resurrecting this thread, because we are currently satisfying another of the UN's conditions to define genocide with forced sterilizations of ICE detainees
i wish i felt more anger and less despair
