A 70-200 is a great lens. Really expensive though, unless your shooting sports or something else where you dont have time to change lenses or your shooting lots of candids its kinda not worth it. I have a tokina 50-135 2.8 to KINDA do the 70-200's job but for cheaper becuase most of my shots are setup and im not in a hurry to change focal lengths. Plus primes put zoom lenses to shame in terms of speed/distortions,light weight, and sharpness.
wanna trade your 85 1.8D for my 50 1.4D +$50? seriously. PM me if you wanna. i love the 50, but i actually am doing a lot of portraits and have been looking for an 85.

Why would he want to change the DOF? Would that have made it more in focus?

lolol, dont start trolling if you have to ask questions to further your argument.

in any regard, he would have wanted to use a smaller aperture if he wanted more of the image in focus.

that's true to a certain extent. that would make everything sharper and such. But I think along with him focusing that picture better a wider aperture would've allowed for more light and a better feel of the car.
either way all the other pictures came out awesome.

I've owned a lotta bricks, 242GT's, 242T's, 245T's.. none of which looked that nice, regardless of camera nerd bullshit.

                          Props.
