It's cool that you know your faults, I like to see that in others as I notice it in myself all the time. To be honest all the photos I see you take and post really made me interested in photography more, seeing your progression.

Typography is rough. I really want to take a Graphic Design specific course to learn more, thats why I am super stoked I got a job as a jr where I can learn.

Its interesting how many people on here are photographers, artists, coders, etc.

    Sold it.

It's what separates know it alls (like some people we could mention) from genuine people. Nobody really likes the former. There's a big difference between having talent and experience and acting like you know it all already and can't learn from anyone.

For instance I've been a professional designer now for about a decade but as corny as it sounds I still learn something new most days.

Type is a tough cookie and a much ignored one. Readability is key in design and is often forgotten. You'll be amazed how much quicker you'll learn with others rather than trying to work in a vacuum.

Yeah it is interesting. I guess it's the allure of the nitty gritty and wanting to find out how it all fits together.

I've torn on the justified vs. unjustified type. I think justified works in some instances. I have been working on readibility though, mainly in trying to keep each line of words with 12 words or less.

looks good, one suggestion I have would be to provide actual links to the sites you designed (in addition to the captures) so they can get an idea of how well the sites actually interact.

What makes justified type so unreadable is the vast variation in space between words. Don't worry about how many words per line, doesn't have any real impact on readability. Just don't make your columns too wide.

With body copy on the web you have no real control over Kerning and specific Tracking even with style sheets so it's best to let the font dictate the number of words per line. Verdana 10 - 11pt is a good readable face. What you really want to avoid is a 'widow' which is a single word left on it's own line. Force hard returns further up the paragraph to fix these items.

I wanted to do that but some of the sites aren't up any more, or are maintained by other people and don't look as good anymore. I'll figure something out.

I like your style a lot, both photography and web design. Your site looks great.

Looks great, Teej. I really like the nature/urban photos, some of those are really cool. The web designs are pretty awesome too.

If you're looking for some constructive criticism, I just notice that most of your shots of people seem to be straight on. I'd like to see more from some abstract angles...but not too crazy, some people go overboard with the camera angles. I guess just something to give people some presence in the photos.

Nice work though man. BTW, the chick in the black bikini is hot. ;)

Digitalwave, What type of coding/designers do you use? I use coldfusion, photoshop (version never matters to me but i am partial to CS), dreamweaver, flash, asp.net (c++.net, C#, vb.net), i have used adobe GOLIVE and microsoft frontpage but those things suck. I am Starting to move towards 3d like bryce and 3Dstudiomax as well as some cinema 4d.

Just trying to figure out what your weapons of choice are. I love learning new stuff maybe we can swap some design ideas and such. I am really interested in learning typography, are there any courses at the universities about typography? I am only in highschool but i still take classes at the community college, hopefully someone can think of a class that i could sign up for to help me out with that. Other than that man i love the photography and the designs are not my taste as i said before but original none-the-less. When my 3d site is finished i will post up here so people can tell me what they think. Keep up the good work and hopefully i can learn a few things from you and maybe help you out some as well.

I use Photoshop CS2 and Notepad... thats it.

My school offers Typography as a class but its only 2 credit hours and I am too close to graduating to take it, but I would if I could.
