Alright so I'd like if I could get
    -long tube headers
-henna trumpets for the ITBs based off the m88
-wasted spark looks pretty cool but I'm not sure how much it'll cost

Hopefully I could clean it up like this if I chose to do wasted spark

I don't really like the idea of a plenum on it because it would be hard to make it look oem and functional.

And for the valve cover I was planning on shaving the m20 cover down only in the middle portion. Then I'll have a BMW M power sticker placed in the center, paint the whole thing wrinkle black, peel the sticker off and sand down the === on either side like in the picture.

That engine is gorgeous btw just too shiny for me.

I think I got what I was looking for but if anyone has other suggestions that would help. Thanks .

If you want the oem look at the front when going WS, then find an upper timing cover from an e21 323i. You will need to modify it slightly if you've got a late e30 cooling system.

Bear in mind that polished ceramic-coating, while initially shiny, takes on a nice muted look over time.

Here's a ceramic-coated header after about a year of daily use. The shine is from cleaning it up a bit with scotchbright.

If you are just referring to a clean M20 setup ...

You gonna throw this up here with out a build thread link?

to OP: considering that most of the "S" motors are a twin cam, 4 valves/ cylinder version with larger displacement it would probably be something like a M52, but without vanos.

Do everything here except the "M Power" stuff because at the end of the day it's not an M motor. It's just as bad as putting an ///M badge on your car when it's not an ///M

Building your own ITBs and stuff is cool (I built my own set-up). If you have the coin, this guy has everything figured out for you. His product is well engineered and dyno proven... and he has plenums coming soon for M20 and M50/M52 kits http://racehead.com.au/

I typed M20 Porn into google and nothing M20 related same up Also I didn't know that was his personal build. But thats seriously a beautiful build. Its always hard to go back to working on my car after reading a build like that. I feel like I'm more than half assing things.

i agree with Kershaw (the joke that you didn't get.)

considering a m-version of the m20 would be DOHC, between 3.2 and 3.5 liters, and 80s tech, you just end up at an s38, regardless of exact engine architecture.

Hey Andrew, are you guys still offering M20 headers? Saw they're out of stock.
