Any words of advice? Not on me doing the bending but are there any drawbacks i should know about?

it works, the only real drawback is it's not adjustable. whatever you get is what you're stuck with.Comment

Thanks, I use camber plates allready so getting things to match up when done shouldn't be a problem and i know who can do the bending. I was hoping i could find someone with experiance. I just want to know what to expect and if there might be reliability issues.Comment

Problem with bending struts is that the rubber will often contact the strut.Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

This is what I'd be concerned with. You typically want to fit as much rubber as possible between your fenders and your strut tube, bending the housing will decrease the max possible tread width.paint sucksComment

What is the approximate clearance change for a 15" wheel with 1.5 degrees of strut angle change?Comment

I had this done on my 03 1.8t that I didn't care much for...got -1.5 iirc on each corner w/o camber plates. But I don't think I would do it if you had good shocks etc... seems a little hokey...Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205
