did you change your pads yet? ATE blue wont be the weak link if you are still running HP+ auto-x pads.
What to do for brakes short of a Massive kit?

I haven't changed pads yet, and the fluids going to stay ate blue, but I'm also going to rebuild the caliper which I'm guessing is going to get messy, so I'll re-bleed with super blue

Which Pentosin product are you liking? Super dot 4 or their Racing fluid?Ate Blue brake fluid is a good product. But it is pretty old technology and basic. Blue or Gold (the same specs, different colors for flushing) will work great on cars that don't have major overeating problems. The e30 on stock brakes is known for the excess heat it packs. Therefore, I suggest using an even higher grade of fluid. But beware, it can become quickly costly. Pentosin makes some good stuff, as well as Motul with its RBF600 (dry boiling point of 593°F and a wet boiling point of 420°F) or Castrol SRF (S stands for $$$$) (dry boiling point of 590°F and a wet boiling point of 518°F) but is silicone-based and will require all new hydraulic components. Compare especially the wet boiling points of Ate's Blue (dry boiling point of 536°F and a wet boiling point of 396°F).E30 325i 24v, E36 M3/4/5, MK2 GLI 16v, NA8 Miata

Pentosin Super DOT 4 is OEM on newer cars among German car manufacturers. It is made to be relatively less hygroscopic than a performance fluid, mainly for people who bleed their brakes every two years... The Racing fluid is better for track duty.
Here's a great chart.

I gave hawk hp+ a shot a few weeks ago and they are more than enough for doing autox events. Ran on dot r tires and used motul rbf600 fluid, rock solid pedal and no fade during enduro event. I also used this same fluid before in my 04 r32 with stock 13"? rotors and carbotech pads, no fade also at Thunderhill track all day (about 2-2.5 hours of hpde). IIRC speeds were in the 120-130mph range on the front straight into turn 1 down to about 60ish??Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205
