I know that on some cars, after installing the bar, the doors open/close much easier when the car is jacked up than prior to the install. On other cars, it makes no difference. I suspect it is more a factor of chassis fatigue over time that makes the difference.

^^^Have you tried one yet?
That thing is a total nonsense. When you tighten the shoulder belts, the buckle goes up you belly. Tighten more. Goes even higher. Did I mention that the only safe location for the lap belt is around your pelvic bones? Not to mention the danger of severing all your internals when submarining. Ever wondered why 4-point harnesses were banned from motorsport 25 years ago?
BTW - Others may have a different opinion. I had two Rallye Shrott belts and hated them.
If all you want is to stay put in your seat, I highly suggest a simple device called CG Lock that works on your stock 3-point belt.

When using Shrott's 4-point harness, on frontal impact, the upper torso will project forward pulling the lap belt up, allowing the body to submarine. Unlike a regular 3-point belt where the forward movement of the upper torso applies tension on the lapbelt, keeping the pelvis in the seat.Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.
