 $65 dollars later...

We'll see how it performs tomorrow. Took it out on a few off ramps and had it upto 80mph. I think it helped overall cornering speed but it could be placebo. I'm withholding judgement for the time being. Also, i might not have a true answer by the end of the day tomorrow because it looks like it might rain, not exactly the best circumstances to give honest feedback.'84 318i M10B18 147- Safari Beige

i've seen some cars with ridiculous aero. wings higher than the roof wider than the car and really long precisely such that it helps at low speeds... like i said ridiculous looking pieces. those cars are usually fast as ** anyways cuase they're all done up.

As for the plexiglass wing above.. i'm surprised it didnt break at speeds with them tiny mounts. you want to distribute that tension over a larger area.No more e30s for me.

Not just A-Mod drivers, but many street touring drivers would disagree as well. There are quite a few who developed aero to have fairly significant & documented advantages at solo speeds...hence the rule change this past year.Mark Scroggs

Even at 40-70mph, given enough surface area you'll get that extra downforce that your car may be lacking. Especially an E30 Brickhouse lolMtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

depends on where you are. I've hit 70mph in an autox before. and then there are the really annoying courses where the max speed is 40.. ugh.Comment
