I have to say I was absolutely not a fan of the start line immediately followed by a 100+ degree turn. Especially after I suggested they combine the S/F line (and heard "hey that's a good idea" in the background from someone in the trailer over the radio...) to help with timing when the electronic system failed.
Are you in North Alabama Gary? I'm going to come down to Huntsville and run at the old airport sometime.

Looks great Chris! I like those courses, but the surfaces don't look to be all that clean. I'm digging the elevation changes and layouts though, we don't have lots like that around here.88 325is - S52 powered

Yeah the parking lots are okay, though what I'd really like to do is a course like the one JCarp90 has near him. I'm hoping the old airport course in Huntsville is more like that one than the kart track we ran last weekend.
It seems the courses we have here - especially last week's at Twin Fountains - are designed for and favoring the Boxsters & Miatas (since that's what most of the regional staff guys run?).

We have some decent flat lots here, but I have yet to be on an airport lot. And occasionally the course designers can be a bit biased in their design. I ran with the PCA last month where the designer ran a GT3 RS, and he was the only car there that didn't need 3rd. Talking to an s2k guy who designs our local SCCA courses, optimally we both had to shift 9 times. It was a long course (70 seconds), but still.88 325is - S52 powered
