I've been successfully using an oem m20 flywheel/clutch on my S50 track car for nearly 4 years. Today I started feeling some slippage. I'm curious if there's a better m20 clutch suited for the track. I'm not looking for anything with silly drag-racing bite. I just want longevity.

What's a good m20 track clutch?

I've been impressed with the Spec Stage 2 clutch in my car. Heavier pedal than stock for sure, but still reasonable take-up.'89 BMW 325is Zinnoberrot / '88 VW Jetta GLI 16v Tornado Red / '89 VW Jetta GLI 16v Tornado Red / '89 VW GTI 16v Bright Blue Metallic / '91 BMW 325i Black / '91 BMW 325i Sport Black / '92 VW GTI 16v Black / '92 VW GTI 16v Montana Green / '01 Audi A4 Avant TQM Silver Metallic / '01 VW Jetta GLX VR6 Black

Why don't you do the s50/52 flywheel/clutch/starter with your g260? Someone correct me if something is or isn't needed.
My f1 clutch is slipping underload with s50 swap. Lasted about 15track days, 10 with m20 and bout 5 with s50.

Mostly for cost reasons when I initially did the swap. It's worked great for 4 years and probably 40 track days. I don't plan to change the whole setup. I'd rather just find another (beefier) m20 clutchLast edited by Lof8; 05-10-2014, 07:44 PM.S50'd

Just to be clear, I don't need anything that bites harder, just looking for a disc that will last. The oem disc was actually fairly impressive but if there's a better option, I'd like to find it.S50'd

Well the Sachs sport and HD pressure plate are over a $700 combo. That's more than I want to spend. Does the e30 m3 setup fit on the m20 flywheel?S50'd
