Well, now that is intriguing . . . I hear its a lot like Putnam in that it is a nice wide open track with plenty of runoff if you goof.
Should have my car there if everything works out! ;)- Sean HayesComment

Hopefully i can get my suspension put on next month...is passing tech, just safety stuff? I have m30afm, 19# inj.,& chip, does that matter? I'd really like to go.Originally posted by DaveCNI'll fix that. Getting a rear headrest for next time. I'll see if I can get away with it on the front, but if not, I'll slap it on the back.
Buckeye CCA has another one in July. If your car will pass tech - come. You need not have it modded out FUH RAZE style.90is, longtube headers/straight pipe/mark d 18# 93 0ctane chip/18# injectors/vogtland springs/bilst. sports

Passing tech is making sure the car is safe. Tires are good, brakes are new or nearly new, fluids aren't puking out. Battery has to be strapped down solidly, good wiper blades (ask me how I know). I don't think Buckeye requires you to get a mechanic to inspeect it beforehand, but its not a bad idea. Hoosier CCA required a mechnic's inspection.Originally posted by german gHopefully i can get my suspension put on next month...is passing tech, just safety stuff? I think Don Black's shop in Louisville will do it for a reasonable fee - tell them you are a poor kid on a budget, and he might cut you a break.:D
Pm me your email address, and I'lll send you the tech form from Hoosier - its pretty thorough - but most of it you'll have no trouble.Current Cars2014 M235i2009 R56 Cooper S1998 M31997 M3Comment

On top of what Dave said...flush your brake fluid a couple weeks before going. Use something decent like Valvoline Synpower or ATE Super Blue. Make sure your battery has a secure tie-down that won't budge vertically as well as horizontally. I'm not sure if one of those clamps that wedges against the side of the battery would pass or not. They're looking to make sure your battery won't fall out if you roll your car. New engine and tranny mounts aren't a bad idea, either.Originally posted by german gHopefully i can get my suspension put on next month...is passing tech, just safety stuff? Battery tie down? I heard you can just wedge a block of wood in there . . .;)Originally posted by Scott314On top of what Dave said...flush your brake fluid a couple weeks before going. Got your PM. And I have the battery tie down setup that is cheap and much more effective than the factory clamp.Originally posted by german gcool, thanks guys. I do need a battery tiedown.. you have pm dave.
