      Question to whom it concerns:

      Other then having your car in decent shape, is going to a few events a year somewhat pricey?

        Depends on the kinds of events. 10 autocrosses equal about one 1 day track event. Track events start around 250 and go up from there. Plus maintenance costs rise on the car and you need to get a helmet (at least) for safety. So yes, its kinda pricey, but it's a hell of a lot of fun, and a big confidence and pride booster.
