Very nice. What class are you looking to end up in with the stroker? My plans at the moment are hopefully to get signed off for time trialing with NASA by the end of the summer, Graduate (finally) in Spring 05, hopefully get my comp liscense by late 05/early 06 and get into W2W with the 'is running in k-stock with the CCA. Right now I'm just running schools and rebuilding every little suspension component on the car, hopefully look at a decent 6 pt weld-in cage this winter.Originally posted by modifiede30Tracked my car all last summer, was licensed for time trials, and home to begin club racing in the summer of 06. Based on the rules, the stroker, using the super eta parts, puts it in the M class, under prepared due to intake and other modifications. I should be licensed by the end of this summer, and will remove the car from the road at that point. The rear bar goes in this spring, and I'll have the front portion added over the following winter. I too am in the process of suspension work. Just recieved the Koni's, and the coilovers are on the way. Adjustable links just came in for the front, and I'm about to add an M3 sway bar in the rear. Still trying to figure out how to make the rear adjustable without going to an aftermarket sway bar. All new bushings around, and I may upgrade my camber plates to a race setup, but we'll see on that one.Very nice. What class are you looking to end up in with the stroker? I have spent about 12 days at the track, mostly VIR. Unfortunately, they were all in my beloved Honda, before it was stolen right out from under me. After that, i bought this E30, and I plan on going at least a couple times this summer.
I had a rollbar in the Civic, but I don't think I'm going to subject this car to a bar. It seems I may have to do a Flyin' Miata after the summer is over so that I can have a low budget track toy that's too fast for me. :twisted:Comment

Anyone looking to do a DE in about July, in the southeast?
I'm gonna try and get out to Roebling Road or Road Atlanta.
It'd be cool if there were a couple of us there 8)Comment

Go to http://www.trackschedule.com/sched.html It has not been updated for next year yet, but it will let you know what is out there. Barber in Birmingham is another great one in the southeast. I have only driven my e46 in an event and not done an event in an e30. Hopefully I'll run a e30 at some point this summer. I highly reccommend doing an event to anyone. If you are in the novice group you will honestly not put very much wear on your car as long as you stay on the track. An auto-x can do as much or more damage.Originally posted by e9ninekeep me posted on this AJ, I should hopefully have the m42 ready for this. ..will do. At the turner field auto-x here in ATL, lotsa cars have been claimed by the walls  last time around I was only there for the 1st heat and hopefully nothing happened after I left. Last month some dude put his Alfa Romeo GTV-6 into the wall :(Originally posted by MichaelHGo to http://www.trackschedule.com/sched.html It has not been updated for next year yet, but it will let you know what is out there.
