He, he. In the same basket. I shall receive a set of 17" x 8" wheels on Wednesday and need to search thru my pile of used 235.40.17 RA1s if I want to be able to instruct on May 11th...

Never mind, I saw "camber plate" and thought of the whole nine yards--thinner than stock strut mount, pillow ball mount etc. All the IE fixed plate would do is add some camber (and raise the car by very a small amount)

I ran 245/50ZR16s on my old car. Those tires you have on now still look balloony to me. :D

I'll be honest, I'm not sure how I feel about the wheels after seeing those pics. I liked the previous pics but with the balloon tires on those wheels (that are only 225/50) I feel it really takes something away.

Then again, looking back on the pictures they've grown on me a lot. I still think it would look a lot better with less sidewall though, and the vert still resembles a monster truck. ;)

I agree with the drop, but that is where my H&R sport's put me, and I really like the ride quality (total street car) versus the race springs.

I think I am going to get those IE front camber plates, that will make the front look more dropped than it is.

but he needs camber in the front and a half inch drop, if that.

I wish there was an easy solution to rear camber. I am not sure I want to start getting things welded, and the bushings seem noisy (PITA on a cabby, don't want to hear squeeking with the top down) and expensive. I could use a bit more in the rear.

I wanted to stay with the correct size wheel diameter, so 45 was out.

I also like a little sidewall, looks better on a E30 IMHO

If I wanted more of the low pro look, a 16 or 17 inch wheel would have been a better solution to the problem than running a shorter tire.

I REALLY wish Falken made the RT-615 in a 225/45-15. Or maybe even wider...

    ^what he said.

205/50/15 is a necessary evil because tire choice is better in that profile. performance tires arent made in 55+ profiles.

if you run the same calculation on a 225/50/15 the sidewall will be 212.5 millimeters high.....a full 10mm increase on the radius of the tire (or 20mm on the diameter)....as I said, Balooony
    on a 225 /45/15 the sidewall height would be 101.25mm or just 1.25mm different than a 205/50/15
    I hope this makes sense
