I'll be honest, I'm not sure how I feel about the wheels after seeing those pics. I liked the previous pics but with the balloon tires on those wheels (that are only 225/50) I feel it really takes something away.

Then again, looking back on the pictures they've grown on me a lot. I still think it would look a lot better with less sidewall though, and the vert still resembles a monster truck. ;)
I was not talking about reducing compression travel, as I mentioned it is a street car and I like the ride of the H&R sports. The IE fixed camber plate simply mounts between the chassis and the existing strut bearing. The chassis is already metal so no degradation of ride quality there.

You guys that thing 225/50's are balloon tires are ridiculous.

Never mind, I saw "camber plate" and thought of the whole nine yards--thinner than stock strut mount, pillow ball mount etc. All the IE fixed plate would do is add some camber (and raise the car by very a small amount)

I ran 245/50ZR16s on my old car. Those tires you have on now still look balloony to me. :D

He, he. In the same basket. I shall receive a set of 17" x 8" wheels on Wednesday and need to search thru my pile of used 235.40.17 RA1s if I want to be able to instruct on May 11th...
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

Have this setup on my 325is and am happy with it.

FYI - Tire Rack gave me a hard time on one order because the recommended wheel size for the 205.50.15 XS is up to 7.5". I just ignored their VM's for a week or two and they eventually shipped. I was worried though, since I bought a single wheel/tire combo to test fit & make sure the tire wasn't too stretched (no issues with that order) and was just ordering the remaining three.

(Reason for getting 15x8 is that I got a second set to use for the track with 225.45.15 NT01's and I want to have the same size wheels for both - bought an extra wheel just in case.)

the lug bolts that come with it look kinda cheap-ish and would rust overnight. I wonder if you can use the existing BMW lug bolts.

I need a wheel locks as well, so I wanna make sure they fit.

                  Can anyone confirm this?

Anyone bought the 7" wide variety yet? I'm curious if the concavity of the face differs between the 7 and 8's.

i believe it does. the 8" looks much better because of that.

last time i checked, the 7" was not available. i think they only sell the 8" now.

I'm looking at the site right now and they're definitely still listed. 7's are in stock and 8" are backordered till the end of the month.

alright. i would still go for 8". i dont see why anyone would get 7" unless they are constrained by spec e30.

they are not legal for spec e30 as they do not meet the weight limit.

true. so then, i dont see why anyone would get the 7" period. it's well worth the 40$ difference.

SpecE30 is 15X7 and 13lb wieght requirement. 15x8 is a no go for the class.
