actually, he has tested cheesy competitors but I've seen no mention of doing the same tests of "his" bars with the same procedure.

Do you really think an E30 would stand a chance against Integra Type-R that are both prepped to the level of the rules? Or a WRX?
BTW I have never had an issue keeping up with other cars in my class, at least in my region. There is one ITR, as well as a few WRXs, an R32, and a modded CTS who I can regularly contend with. Granted, there is a possibility (well, probability) that the drivers of these cars could use some more practice.
