had a metallic "scraping" sound coming from my car, when i step on the clutch it goes away. a few people told me it was a bad throwout bearing, replaced that and the noise is still there. took it to a mechanic and he told me it was the "running gears" in the trans? i have no idea what it means.. i just bought this car and i dont want to have to replace the trans. what do you guys suggest i should do?
