Either the clutch slave ore master took a dump. How can I tell which one it is?

if slave went out it'll leak on the floor right next to the tranny. if its master it'll leak into the cabin irrc. also, the clutch pedal will fall to the floor for the slave, not sure if it does that for the master though. but yeah, if you are doing one, do the other.

from previous experinece.... when you press the pedal and it falls to the floor.. it wont come back up on its own.. thats the master cylinder...

when the pedal has no resistence... its teh slave...

well for slave the clutch won't return back but stay on the floor. you have it mixed around. i had to replace my slave because of that.

I think you should be able to hear air when it's the master. Not positive though.

Lock the flex line before the slave. Still have mushy/slowly falling pedal, it's the master. If not, it's the slave. I'd change both, though.

my new transfer case is being shipped out today! trans should arrive tomorrow and clutch should be here today when i get home. pedals are in, everything auto is out. just need a flywheel!! :hitler:
