Her Plates come under her name but there's a warrant with the name victor. Officer said to update her plates. Previous owner is not named victor neither

wow, what the hell. insurance companies are tricky. they see you are young and they will try and take advantage. i wouldn't have mentioned anything about looking anywhere other than the fact that he came out of nowhere and couldn't avoid slamming into him. that's bullshit though. it would really be a shitter if you had to take it to small claims, although, i really don't see how it would have to get there in the first place. stupid crooks.

Yeah i know now that i shouldn't have mentioned looking elsewhere but I was just being honest since I felt I was following the law lol. I really have no reason to lie but if it were to ever go to court I can just say that the driver was turned the other fucking way when I hit him, I'll have a hard time proving it but I did already mention that when they recorded my statement so it's not like I just made it up. My adjuster is finally gonna take the other driver's statement today in the afternoon so the ball is finally rolling, however I asked if she'd seen pictures of the car yet and she yes and that it's a total loss :sad:

Also Abby, good call on the whole 'insurance using your words against you' thing. GAH.

yeah, well don't let them take advantage of you just because you are young. don't act timid and tell them how it is exactly. you should be fine as the guy was clearly in the wrong. i HATE when people make illegal left turns like that. i don't understand how people don't get that left turns within 250ft of an intersect are illegal and highly dangerous. i've had plenty of close encounters and boy will i lay down the horn.
