never mind thats closed, and that was the problem, I was trying to shut it in the closed position and doing so bent the hook portion back enough that once it was open it would hook but would trip the latch back closed, a little torque and muscle and its back to working order

Is it weird that my exhaust was smoking for like 2 minutes tonight when I turned on the car? Changed it over to 20W-50 from 10w-40. I might run some seafoam through it in the morning if it happens again. But, could it be that the remainder of the 10w-40 was burning off or what do you guys think?
