I think I have one for you Matthew. If not they're like $15 new.

Edit: Nope the cheapo is $33 from BMA. Sheesh! I'll check for you when I get home.

I know a lot of e46 guys that will drive to big bear during snow season on dedicated winter tires no problems. Just another input incase that is your only reason for AWD.
Really? That's a horrendous road up there too..like 15 miles of windy cliffs lol. Now I just wish I could go snowboarding again haha. I've been trying to talk her out of awd because off all the extra moving parts and bs, but she's pretty dead set on it.

Same here, had a 4wd suv that I never put in 4.. she learned on fwd though and still has her first car so its gonna be a big change for her. Very valid points though, I already have a truck and a honda as it is so we'd be a 4 car family haha

At least if it's a RWD you can source parts much faster and be back on the road sooner.
Thats what I keep telling her, at that age it nearly impossible to find anything under 100k, or even under 150k that isnt beat to hell. So like you said, its not a matter of if it breaks down, but when

Does anyone know how to contact www.thebmwpartstore.com? I have called twice and left a message and no return call. I tried emailing them and get a 404 not responding when I try to send a message.
