yep, mine is running at 1.6ohm. hits nicely, i'm going to drill the hole just a little bit bigger and try and get it to maybe 1ohm for the next one.

right on, try a silica wick at least once. make sure you oxidize the whole thing or at least the part sticking above that gets burned and dip it in cold water, do it a few times to really clean it up too so you won't get that metallic taste. that's why i like silica wick or similar.

+1. I understand most of what you guys are saying from lab experiments but you loose me with mechanical mods and model names.

                    cliff notes

                    -rsst/aga-t2 = rebuildable atomizers
                    -igo-l/genesis = atomizer style
-ss mesh/silca wick = wick (carries ejuice)
-gauge wire wraps around wick between neg/pos post to vape ejuice

My pipe is a carborizer which was supposed to be an upgrade over the atomizer according to some of the reviews I've read.

Its got a cartomizer with a tank. People like em more when on the go, but a lot of people say they tend to decrease in performance after a while. To much ejuice/flooding, etc. Dripping atomizers tend to give better flavor/vapor only downside is having to drip often because of no tank.

Where the rebuildables come in supposed to be the best of both worlds, biggest issue is leaking.

                              i like a 30/70 pg/vg

pg- the flavor carrier & throat hit
                              vg- the vapor producer

so heavier pg you'll feel a stronger hit in the throat. Would probably cough until you get used to it. Personally I like heavy vapor & a mild throat hit, but I like playing with vapor. Depends on your flavors to.

To start out I'd go with a 50/50 & see which you like more of pg/vg

50/50 is more prone for leaks
