ugh moving sucks. Ive priced out how much it would cost to have a shop finish my swap. most say ~30+ hours @ $100/hr. this is NOT how I planned on doing my swap. Thinking about dragging it down and finishing it in my garage.

Uhhhhh 30 hours? Labor for a complete swap should be like $1500 at a shop.

thats what I was hoping it would be around, but two local shops quoted me 30 hours... Next call is to Castro's. Trying to figure this out, because I would rather do the work myself if its going to cost 3k. I can just buy another car for less than that and take my time with the swap, but im trying really hard not to buy more cars.

Depending on the swap and how muchh you have left I would say 30 hours is not a bad quote, plus many of them are probably including time for unforeseen problems and locating parts since it doesn't sound like there is a donor car

Black bottle caps...you know what that means. That means they want to race. No seriously...I hope they somehow survived and it wasn't anyone on the forums.
