lol. i enjoy taking sharp turns, and beating the hell out of the car. as much as i love going fast in a straight line, it's not my style of racing.

lol. i enjoy taking sharp turns, and beating the hell out of the car. as much as i love going fast in a straight line, it's not my style of racing.

There are cars out there running big blocks that are still good track cars, plus the 502 crate engine comes in aluminum, just sayin, everyone assumes that if it has an American engine it has to go in a straight line...not true, there are plenty of track cars around the country running American motors

Ya, and they run on a very straight track ;-) Especially if it is a Ford engine.

i know there's plenty of american muscle under track cars and i love the way they sound. but you said supercharged, that's straight line performance at that point. not what i'm after. i love watching big muscle on the drive network.

Don't forget in the golden era there were factory built race spec production cars with big blocks,close gear trans,suspension upgrades and these were all built to perform in vintage scca/grand am/touring series

These were available in dealers for enthusiasts to have great dds as well as be able to drive to the track and put in some sessions :)

i was referring to an l28 not an m20. only 2 motors i mentioned were bmw motors.

get a 510 or 610 and build a z22 bottom/l-series head. fun and stupid cheap motor build.
