How heavy is this to move, id be down to do this to my eta engine.

The head and glass comes off; the block tilts over to sit on 4 casters (one can be seen on the bottom). So I just roll it to where I need it. Everything is MIG welded, but really shitty welds (my own). So how heavy? The weight of the block and a couple pistons. I can lift it into my miata. Yes, it fits inside a miata.

OH QUESTION:
I heard that driving with a low tank of gas can damage something and make the car run funny? Anyone know anything about this?

If your tank is full of crud when you run it low or empty the crud clogs your fuel filter. Possibly damage pumps.

Oh, that sounds like a given for any car. The way the guy said it to me made it sound like an e30 thing.

No thats just about any car. General rule is that I don't fill at a gas station that is refilling their tanks. You know when the tanker trucks are in the station. Supposedly when they fill the tanks it kicks up whatever junk is in the station tanks which then that pumps into your car. Just a myth, but makes enough sense to me.

Yeah i know those shits are slow, i dont like the response on diesel, maybe for a truck, yes. But for a car, hell nah. I dont know im not too happy about his decision, i hope he goes with somethin better.

I've always driven my cars from full until the light comes on. Never had a problem with anything.

Same for me, only had an issue when my e30s 170k mile fuel pump died after being ran completely dry by dad when he barrowed the car.
