Oh, believe me; I'd be the first to tell you I'm pissed about the situation as well. I wasn't trying to make light of that: I was following Yan-3 and Vlad since pretty well the very beginning, and to see this happen is very disheartening.

I've never known r3v to be absolutely "serious business", but for some schmuck to come in with less than 200 post count in 6 years call it "entertainment".. That's beyond a low blow. If the mods deamed my post really uncontributing to the discussion, that's fine; but the principle still stands, and that guy still hasn't been called out for such a ludicrous statement.

Where does the line need to be drawn? If my post got deleted, shouldn't everybody's post that only has the popcorn smilie be deleted too? If you ask me, I would just say it's some of the new mods overreacting and going a little power-hungry.

But, what the heck do I know, right? I'm just a regular member, not a mod, right?
