I sold my S52 crank for $300 a little while ago, I would imagine the M52 is less, but who knows what todays prices are

I hope so, I cannot wait to drive an e30 with an NA m20 making decent power

I could do a motor swap or go turbo for less, but a 3.xL m20 gets me going :)

done right a built M20 will be wonderful. hard to justify cost with ANY na build, but if thats what floats your boat, do it. I love NA power

Same here, NA power is what I'm all about! I would take my stock m20 over my last car's turbo engine, which was making 300/320 at the wheels.

For me, it's all about the experience when I push the gas down, not how fast I'm going. Hitting up the twisties with an NA car is too much fun. Maybe i'm just a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles, but with my old car, when the boost would hit coming out of a turn, it could be pretty scary haha.

                Jesus! I bought my m20 for 350.

                Speaking of which...

The water in my coolant reservoir has recently turned dark. A rocker is ticking exceptionally loud, and she's down on power. Hmmm

Oh and funny enough, my summer tires, with nice fat treads and few water channels (falken azenis) actually perform better in the rain than my all-seasons. Wtf?

Yeah, all seasons are meant to handle snow so you're compromising the amount of rubber contacting the ground. Continental dw are my favorite tires to run here in cali.
