Charlie, if you can run the 16x9 with no flares that would be perfect. Im not a fan of drilling into the body for the flaresOriginally posted by ak- View Postaka just double-sided tape them on, ez.
jk, but me neither. I ALMOST did it 3 years ago and glad I didn't pull the trigger.
In the rear I've also cut the inner lip and rolled/pulled as much as I could and I rub lightly on hard compression.
We're talking some really meaty tires here... just sitting next to the 225 dz2s, the pirellis look almost an inch wider Maybe if these pirellis were 225s, they'd stretch a bit over the 9" wheel and give a better shape for clearance, but the 245 on a 9" wheel is still going to be quite fat I think.

These fat tires make me think this car needs more than just M20 power haha

Anyone in West LA/ Culver City area good with car audio?
Im going to be tearing my HVAC panel out today to swap the OBC light bar with a LED one from Garagistic, and Id like to also fix the car stereo, but other than checking basics I will be clueless. I dont think it will be a huge issue because the stereo has worked on and off in the last 2 weeks. I really want a functioning headunit.Simon
