    oh the joys of bimmer ownership...battery is dead stranded at home now rather then the side of the road...Glad it's not the starter or alternator like I suspected...

                                                You answered your own question... E36 M3 coilovers are what you'd use in front.

                                                Rear can be any combination of E30, 318ti, Z3 parts of course.
