afaik, oilpan yes. and i think you will want to keep the trans because of your driveshaft setup and your trans' older output flange. it should bolt up to both motors the same.

^Yes, pretty sure it does. The blocks should have the same oil pan and trans bolt patterns.

Sweet, thanks! Based on what I've gathered, this is the tentative plan:

Sunday- Order old/missing parts and start on tranny
Monday- Remove eta engine
Tuesday- Prep i motor
Wednesday- Lower it in, start attaching things
Thursday-Weekend- Check and recheck wires/tubes and possible start up.

I'm ambitious :P

Definitely doable in that short amount of time. I took about 2 months doing it casually on the weekends the first time, though, because I kept finding more things to replace and had to wait for parts.

okay, if i'm doing bushings, what should go poly and what can stay rubber? i was going to get just poly fcabs and steering guibo. what about subframe and rtabs? any real advantage of poly?

I was thinking of e36 engine mounts. I'll see if my dad can sponsor the guibo and bushings :P

High durometer urethane is nice for stiffness, but you get some increased NVH. Poly FCABs are nice, though. I'm running some street grade ones.

i was going to do poly fcabs, and steering guibo, m3 oem diff bushing, and oem rtabs and subframe bushings. ehh???
