so i trade my e28 to this guy for his corolla. now he's saying the car is giving him problems and the car is cutting out on him? this has never happened during my ownership. he said he fixed some things. we signed bills of sale and everything but he still has the title he was supposed to send me. what do you think i should do guys? i want to keep the corolla and i disclosed to him as best i could all the problems prior to trading. he wants his corolla back and wants me to deal with the e28 problems

A hand written bill of sale don't mean shit as far as registering the vehicle. Your going to have to jump through loop holes in order to transfer it. As many cars as you go through i'd think you'd be a DMV expert by now. The easiest way to transfer it is to have a lien sale done. The hand written bill of sale will make it so the previous owner can't contest it. That reminds me. I still need to get a proper bill of sale from you.

Its a done deal if he drove it before you passed hands with the cash and shook hands and he was happy with it,he owns it bro. i did all that. and he never refused to give me the title he just simply wants the car back now that he thinks he cant deal with the issues. he says if i get it fixed he still wants to trade.

i dont want to be a dick. hes telling me the car is a POS but i've been driving it everyday for months. how can it all of a sudden start acting up after a day of trading it? he's been in the car, he inspected it, he wanted it. even met me halfway for it. now he's giving me trouble. he said he's fixed some things but what if he did something else i dont know about or hes not telling me? we both agreed that both our cars needed some work but we were willing to deal. i thought it was a fair trade and so did he. ah dont know what to do right now.. pissed off

besides crawling in the trunk how do you know if your trunk light shuts off when you shut the trunk? I think that may be the culprit to my battery drain.

Pop out the light and disconnect it. See if problem goes away.
