Hey guys, Would anyone happen know why when I pull hard from a stand still, my 2nd gear doesn't want to engage? It'll engage once in a while though. I don't think the new z4 3.0 ss is the issue since normal driving it goes in just fine..
Pulling hard I can shift fine through all other gears. Does this mean my clutch or tranny are possibly going out?

I have a z4 shifter and second is always tough to engage but it never doesn't go in...perhaps the selector rod needs to be bent a bit?

91 318iS anything over $400. Exactly what I was looking for before I found my white M3. Maybe someone here can use it. Owner just wants to junk it but doesn't say why. Body looks intact. Maybe it has a blown engine, maybe not.

The bending of the selector rod is only to clear the Guibo casing though isn't it? I don't have that issue though

True , but I hear from PO that he had his slightly bent to fix an issue regarding the shifter...Not quite sure myself just offering what little insight I have on the matter.
