no....it sat normally with the stock selector rod. i'm not complaining, i'm just saying.
also, with it in backwards, it sits right of center. again, i'm not complaining, just letting you know.1989 325is / 2.7, 274 cam, e30 M3 5-lug

i have the shorter z4. it DOES have a bend, but one that the stock selector didn't have a problem with. the lever is installed with the bend pointing forward. it's almost perfect that way except it feels like the gears are one gate over (1st looks like 3rd).
i will say that that thing is machined precisely. i had to grind off the excess bushing around the bottom of the lever just to wedge it in. everything fits unbelievably snug.1989 325is / 2.7, 274 cam, e30 M3 5-lug
