I wonder if that adjusts the height of the damper essentially moving the shocks upward to reserve shock travel on a lowered car. This could be done instead of cutting and welding the towers higher as seen in some race cars and running short bodied shocks.

I'm not confident that will fit an 88 325is, but I don't know that much about the minute differences in the drive shafts over the years...Unless someone like matt chimes in saying otherwise?

You probably have a small flange, late CSB...but this depends on your exact production date. CSB's can be changed out though, so that's not a big deal. As for the flange, you could always use a revshift large to small guibo.

              Maybe adjusts spring pre-load?
              Or reverse height adjustment, lol?

Well there's always the Junkyard. It's half off this weekend too. Thing is you have to pull it and who knows how long it'll last.

                  It's on like Donkey Kong...

                  Now that's.........different.

When I had my 240, I saw a company called Project Mu who had Height Adjustable Camber plates. Allowed for about and 1" height adjustment.

Looks very similar to the ones you posted.
