Anyone have an IS trunk wing i can have for a week or so and replace asap?

When doing a 13 button OBC swap they have to be from the same model correct? Since I have an i I can only use OBC from other "i" and "is"?

From what i understand, for the most part yes, there are a lot of really good writeups and i believe the key is actually the programming chip that goes into the back of the obc, if your car didnt come with a 13 button, (ie 318is) then its a special order, do a google search snd you will eventually find the diy im refering to that goes into this

As long as its complete, paint isnt of importance, if you dont mind giving it up id love to have it, as soon as i can pick one up at a yard ill replace it plus one if i have to

i've done a couple obc swaps successfully. however, on my own car (non-swap), i changed out the unit with a clean one from an e24 because my buttons were scuffed and it always reads 18 mile range, even at full tank. i swapped the rear plug and it still reads wrong.


edit: ohmaigod these are epic. 14x10? how is that even real?
